dc.descriptionEn el documento encontrará la formulación del Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental – PIGA- en la Empresa de Servicios Públicos de Santander S.A. E.S.P. “ESANT”, como un instrumento de planeación que fomenta el desarrollo sostenible de la entidad con miras a la conservación y protección del medio ambiente; por tanto se realizó un análisis de la situación ambiental de la empresa, el cual permitió conocer su estructura física y orgánica; así como la identificación de aspectos e impactos ambientales que se generaban por el funcionamiento de ESANT, en base a esto se pudo establecer la formulación del PIGA de la empresa, puntualizando cada uno de los programas y proyectos que se constituyeron como medidas de manejo para los impactos ambientales relevantes generados por las actividades administrativas, bajo el desarrollo de estrategias y metas ambientales, que permitirán la conservación de los recursos y la preservación del medio ambiente; promoviendo así la gestión y calidad ambiental tanto de ESANT, de la ciudad de Bucaramanga y por ende del Departamento de Santander.
