Lineamientos Para La Valoración Económica De La Integridad Ecosistémica De Entornos Boscosos A Partir De Indicadores Bióticos

El uso de bioindicadores es tradicional en ecología, toxicología ambiental, control de contaminación, silvicultura y vida silvestre. En esta investigación, se establecieron lineamientos de valoración económica relacionados con la integridad ecosistémica de entornos boscosos, a partir de atributos prevalentes en indicadores bióticos como referente de análisis para evaluar su condición y estado frente al aporte de amenidades y servicios ecosistemicos. Se realizó un muestreo teórico para evidenciar características prevalentes de un bioindicador y se consideró una muestra de especies asociadas a entornos boscosos para jerarquizar estos atributos. Una segunda etapa aplicó el Proceso Analítico Jerárquico para evaluar preferencias otorgadas según atributos priorizados y evaluar dos alternativas. Seguidamente, se efectúo un muestreo de preferencias reveladas como variables explicativas del valor de integridad a través del planteamiento de una función. Finalmente, con ánimo de validar el proceso generado, se propuso un estudio de caso, referido a la posibilidad de valorar económicamente la integridad ecosistémica del bosque húmedo andino del Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza a partir de los atributos reconocidos en un bioindicador y teniendo en cuenta la estrategia de consulta a expertos.
The use of bioindicators is traditional in ecology, environmental toxicology, pollution control, forestry and wildlife. In this research, economic valuation guidelines related to the ecosystemic integrity of forested environments were established, based on attributes prevalent in biotic indicators as a benchmark for analyzing their condition and status against the contribution of ecosystem services and amenities. A theoretical sampling was carried out to demonstrate prevailing characteristics of a bioindicator and a sample of species associated with forest environments was considered to rank these attributes. A second stage applied the Hierarchical Analytical Process to evaluate preferences granted according to prioritized attributes and evaluate two alternatives. Next, a sampling of revealed preferences was carried out as explanatory variables of the integrity value through the presentation of a function. Finally, in order to validate the generated process, a case study was proposed, referring to the possibility of economically assessing the ecosystem integrity of the Andean humid forest of the Chingaza National Natural Park based on the attributes recognized in a bioindicator and taking into account the Expert consultation strategy.
