Se evaluó el efecto larvicida de la borra de café en lasvas de Aedes aegypti estadio 4 en condiciones de laboratorio y en campo como prueba piloto. Se emplearon 7 tratamientos en laboratorio desde 3 gr/L a 9 gr/L,se determino la concentración mas efectiva para realizar las pruebas en campo, siendo el tratamiento 7 (9 gr/L) la concentración con 99% de efectividad. En campo se busco 5 criaderos para aplicar el bioensayo en varios estadios larvarios con el fin de determinar el tiempo letal medio, para el cual en todos los bioensayos se logro la efectividad larvicida en mas del 50% de los especímenes.
The larvicidal effect of coffee grounds in Aedes aegypti stage 4 was evaluated in laboratory and field conditions as a pilot test. 7 treatments were used in the laboratory from 3 gr / L to 9 gr / L, the most effective concentration was determined to perform field tests, with treatment 7 (9 gr / L) being the concentration with 99% effectiveness.
