| dc.description | La minería a cielo abierto es una de las actividades humanas de mayor impacto en el entorno en que se desarrolla esta y que por la naturaleza de sus procedimientos hace necesario emplear tecnologías y realizar actividades que promuevan la mitigación de sus efectos en el medio que las rodea teniendo en cuenta sus múltiples actores. El siguiente escrito documenta algunas actividades llevadas a cabo en algunas minas de la región y cercanas a la sabana de Bogotá, actividades pertenecientes a las fases previas al minado, durante la producción y durante la restauración, ya que estas no son las únicas que se llevan a cabo durante el desarrollo de una mina de esta naturaleza. El objetivo fundamental es presentar a las comunidades las realidades presentes en el proceso de extracción de materiales de construcción vista desde el laboratorio del topógrafo ofreciendo así un panorama basado en evidencias, y a las empresas o personas dedicadas a la actividad minera un documento que permita tomar mejores decisiones reduciendo así los efectos causados por la actividad evitando a largo plazo los pasivos ambientales que tanto estigmatizan al sector. | |
