dc.descriptionEn los últimos años la manera en como se diseña y construye ciudades se ha basado fundamentalmente en los malos hábitos de explotación de recursos naturales generando impactos ambientales muy fuertes en el territorio lo cual ha fomentando el calentamiento global y esta generando problemas sociales y ambientales. Ante estos problemas es sumamente necesario repensar las ciudades (sus modos de producción y consumo) y volver a plantearse cuál es su fin. Es pertinente empezar a generar otro tipo de intervenciones en la planificación urbana teniendo en cuenta el medio ambiente, la reutilización de materiales, la implementación de energías renovables y el aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales. De esta manera, la planificación, el diseño y la construcción de ciudades debe basarse en un modelo de desarrollo donde prime el ser humano y se desarrolle en un contexto local que se ajuste a las necesidades y costumbres de las personas que habitan los territorios.
dc.descriptionIn recent years the way in which cities are designed and built has been based fundamentally on the bad habits of exploitation of natural resources, generating very strong environmental impacts in the territory, which has fostered global warming and is generating social and environmental problems. In the face of these problems, it is extremely necessary to rethink the cities (their modes of production and consumption) and to rethink their purpose. It is pertinent to start generating other types of interventions in urban planning taking into account the environment, the reuse of materials, the implementation of renewable energies and the use of natural resources. In this way, the planning, design and construction of cities must be based on a development model where the human being predominates and develops in a local context that adjusts to the needs and customs of the people who inhabit the territories.
