La necesidad de generar una base de datos con información de valores de gravedad para el Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC), es la base de este proyecto; el cual fue realizado bajo la modalidad de pasantía. Dicho proyecto se realizó dando un apoyo en la depuración y análisis de la información gravimétrica tanto digital como física; con el fin de automatizar el tratamiento, consulta y acceso de la información.
El proceso para desarrollar el proyecto conto con dos fases, la primera se relaciono con todo el tema de depuración, dicho proceso se realizo con el diligenciamiento de documentos oficiales del instituto “Registro de observaciones gravimétricas”; para luego almacenar los registros en la segunda fase correspondiente a la base de datos “CARTERAS RED SIGNAR”, la cual fue creada en PgAdmin III (herramienta para la creación de bases de datos del software PostgreSQL - un software libre y compatible con todas las diferentes plataformas de ordenadores); esta herramienta es de gran valor para el proyecto debido a que también permite administrar la base de datos dándonos un fácil manejo de la información.
Actualmente luego del desarrollo de este proyecto el Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC), cuenta con una base de datos en la cual podrán almacenar la información de gravedad, sirviendo como fuente de respaldo y consulta; beneficiando al departamento de geodesia al facilitar el manejo y manipulación de información y ampliando la posibilidad de acceso de está a más personas.
The need to generate a database with information of gravity values for the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC), is the basis of this project; which was carried out under the modality of internship. This project was carried out by providing support in the purification and analysis of gravimetric information, both digital and physical; in order to automate the treatment, consultation and access of information. The process to develop the project had two phases, the first was related to the whole refinement process, this process was carried out with the completion of official documents of the institute "Record of gravimetric observations"; to then store the records in the second phase corresponding to the database "CARTERAS RED SIGNAR", which was created in PgAdmin III (tool for the creation of PostgreSQL software databases - a free software compatible with all the different computer platforms); This tool is of great value for the project because it also allows managing the database giving us an easy handling of the information. Currently, after the development of this project, the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC) has a database in which they can store the information of gravity, serving as a source of support and consultation; benefiting the geodesy department by facilitating the handling and manipulation of information and expanding the possibility of access to more people.
